In ordinary Moments
Combing your hair
Washing your hands
Singing to me
A melody so pure
Eating so wonderfully
Drunk with the taste
Like a refugee child upon an overturned
UN food truck by the shore
Food coming in like ocean waves
You a splash in it
Such haste, such concentration
Such joy this taste of you
I love you best
A motion blur of the noisy reckless child.
Abandoned unnoticed in these ordinary moments
In this way I love you best.
